Copper Nickel 70 / 30 Bolts

Copper Nickel 70 / 30 Bolts

Cupro Nickel 70/30 Bolts is the combination of Copper and Nickel where it comprises 2-30% of Nickel. These are made with a chemical composition that contains chromium, iron, copper, manganese, silicon, carbon, and titanium. These have high oxidation and stress corrosion cracking resistance. Even at high temperatures, these are highly thermally stable and have moderate amounts of strength. The inclusion of manganese, iron, niobium, chromium improves the corrosion resistance and the power of these alloys. Copper and nickel alloys are very easy to work with and have solid intrinsic resistance to biofouling. Because Nickel is soluble in Copper, Copper-Nickel 70/30 alloys have single-phase alpha structures. The alpha dendrites in the cast structures contain a significant quantity of Nickel from the centre to the dendrite's borders.

Copper Nickel 70/30  Nuts also have great strength and can easily be used for welding purposes. These are highly used in saltwater applications where abrasion and reduction are encountered. Physical and mechanical characteristics like density, modulus of elasticity, tensile strength, yield strength, elongation, thermal conductivity, electrical conductivity, melting point, impact strength, and ultimate tensile strength are also used to develop these bolts.

These bolts are incredibly resistant to alkaline as well as neutral solutions. These fasteners have excellent thermal and electrical characteristics. Copper Nickel 70/30 bolts are poor electrical conductors as compared to other pins. If other metals come into contact with this Nickel alloy in an acidic environment, they are known to undergo galvanic erosion.

The mechanical properties of these make them appropriate for a wide range of industry applications. When compared to other fasteners, they have more hardness and strength. Apart from that, they have high resilience even in high-temperature applications.

DC Engineering is one of the most trusted and modest suppliers, manufacturers and stockists of Cupro Nickel 70/30 Fasteners. These bolts are thoroughly made of tested and certified raw materials.
