The MONEL Washers contain nickel along with copper in their chemical composition. This combination provides them with properties such as the ability to be ductile. And they also have the characteristics of durability. Along with copper and nickel in their chemical composition, the Monel 400 fasteners also have other elements in their chemical composition. These elements include carbon, manganese, along with other elements such as ferrous, silicon, sulfur. This combination gives them resistance in a corrosive atmosphere.

The Monel K500 fasteners also are resistant to corrosion, and they also have the property of hardness and provide high strength.
