Stainless Steel 347/347H Bolts are austenitic stainless steel bolts that have been columbium stabilized. These have high corrosion resistance. These bolts are also effective at high temperatures, reducing the amount of carbide precipitation that can occur. These bolts can also be formed very easily. Weldability is a feature of 347 Stainless Steel bolts. 347 stainless steel contains no more than 0.08 percent carbon, whereas 347H stainless steel contains between 0.04 and 0.10 percent carbon.
These bolts can tolerate temperatures of up to 1500 degrees Fahrenheit. These bolts can only be hardened using the cold working procedure.
