CUPRO NICKEL NUTS

CUPRO NICKEL NUTS

In the CUPRO NICKEL NUTS, the base elements are copper and nickel. Both of them have excellent properties and hence the fasteners that are manufactured by these elements also possess excellent properties. The Copper-Nickel 70 / 30 Nuts have manganese and iron in their chemical composition; therefore, they are widely used in sea water-related applications where corrosion occurs. However, Copper Nickel 90 / 10 Nuts have excellent high strength corrosion resistance. Along with this, they also have the property of being ductile and are also tough.

The Copper-Nickel 70 / 30 Nuts are made of a chemical composition that has 70 percent copper and 30 percent nickel. It also has a specific concentration of manganese along with iron. The combination of these elements improves the fastener's ability to resist corrosion. Their strength is comparatively better than the Copper-Nickel 90 / 10 Nuts, which makes them suitable for various applications.

The Copper-Nickel 90 / 10 Nuts is also considered as a cost-friendly alternative for Copper-Nickel 70 / 30 Nuts. The Copper-Nickel 90 / 10 Nuts also show good strength at slightly elevated temperatures. They can be fabricated by both hot working procedures as well as cold working procedures. They also possess the characteristics of being easily weldable. The Copper-Nickel 90 / 10 Nuts is considered slightly superior compared to the Copper-Nickel 70 / 30 Nuts.

Some of the properties of Copper Nickel alloy are that they are ductile. They have good resistance to corrosion and also have good strength. Because of all these properties and characteristics that they have, they are used in a wide range of industrial applications.
